Provider Services and Using these Procedures

Sheffield City Council Provider Services include Day Support, Shared Lives, Supported Living and Short Breaks Services. There is also our in-house reablement Short Term Intervention Service.

All provider services can and should refer to relevant procedures and guidance across this procedures site as required.

For example:

• The Care Act 2014 Resource;
• The Mental Capacity Act 2005 Resource and Practice Toolkit;
• Universal Procedures;
• Specialist Procedures
• Local Resources.

In addition to the above, there is a dedicated section on the contents list to support the Short Term Intervention Service with core functions such as assessment, Reablement Planning and review.
